| Description | A well Established Manufacturer supplying major UK high street retailers require a highly organised, numerically/statistically minded person to join their purchasing team in the role of a MATERIALS PLANNER/STOCK CONTROLLER The role will involve the day to day scheduling of materials for a high volume production schedule. Working with other members of the management team to produce the weekly manufacturing schedule; stock control, and introduction of new products into production. You will also be responsible for keeping their MRP system up-to-date with costings; and other master part records; stock record accuracy; and all transactions associated with the day to day activities on the shop floor. Prepare a master production schedule for the factory using Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be a graduate in a relevant subject, be highly computer literate, be resilient and have the ability to work well under pressure and be skilled in using Microsoft Office. Full training in the specific requirements of this role will be given by the current job holder. |
